This BUL SAS II Air OR pistol has a 5.0” match-grade bull barrel, which is highly accurate. The bull barrel is stiffer than other barrels, meaning it is less susceptible to vibrations. That firm barrel is covered by a robust steel slide with multiple ventilation holes towards the front. There are deep vertical grooves on the back of the slide -above the grip- for added grip, allowing you to pull the slide back easier. The semi-automatic pistol has a single-action trigger system.
There’s a height-adjustable rear sight on the back of the slide and there’s a brightly illuminated red optic fibre on the front of the slide. These allow you to aim accurately with the BUL SAS II Air OR, but if you want to aim even faster you can use a red dot. There’s a plate underneath the rear sight that you can take off the slide in its entirety, revealing a spot where you can mount a red dot. You will get a RMR footprint adapter with this pistol, allowing you to immediately mount a compatible red dot.
The bull barrel has a solid amount of weight, granting the pistol a decent balance. There’s also a fully closed dust cover underneath the fore end of the pistol. This puts even more weight on the BUL SAS II Air OR pistol, which counteracts muzzle flip. That dust cover also results in a very clean and modern look. The pistol has a safety pin that you can easily operate with your thumb. The slide lock has a serrated surface for added grip and it is located just above the trigger.
The modular trigger provides a wide surface that you can easily reach thanks to the curved shape. It is also incredibly light and you can smoothly pull it. This allows you to keep the BUL SAS II Air OR pistol trained on your target. The grip is made of synthetic material and it has a rough texture all around for added grip. Using the magazine pin on the left side of the grip will allow you to easily take out the magazine. The pistol has a wide aluminium magwell that fully encloses the magazine.
