Product description
The Beretta 691 Field is a beautiful finished over and under with Beretta’s well-known Steelium barrels. These barrels are drilled from billet steel and cold hammer forged, making for ultimate hardness and durability. After this, they are tempered to destress the material. What makes Steelium barrels so special is the forcing cone, which is a real technical challenge. This long cone does less damage to the shot, providing for a more consistent shot pattern. Also, recoil and over shooting are greatly reduced.
When it comes to the finish, the Beretta 691 Field has high standards. Whether it’s the oiled stock from high grade wood or the tight fitting 691 receiver with beautiful floral engraving, everything breathes quality. The trigger has a selector to choose which barrel fires first and the soft rubber shoulder piece will dampen a lot of the recoil.
