This FX Barrel Tuner Shroud provides you with the opportunity to harmonically tune your barrel perfectly. This means the oscillating movement of the barrel can be altered. By changing this vibration frequency, the accuracy can be improved significantly. Previously, this could only be done indirectly by experimenting with the velocity of the pellets or slugs, but with the FX Barrel Tuner Shroud, the barrel itself can be tuned.

There are no exact calculations to tune a barrel harmonically, but the FX Barrel Tuner Shroud lets you alter the oscillating movement to be in perfect balance with the pellet or slug of your choice. The shroud -which has a dampening function of its own- features an adjustable weight at the muzzle end, that can be varied in position by turning it. This is an empirical process, where you’ll find the sweet spot where the groups get really small by just trying step by step. When you get really tight grouping, it’s a sign the barrel harmonics are in tune with the chosen projectile. The marks on the FX Barrel Tuner Shroud help you to find back your favourite adjustment.
