The Pulsar Talion XQ38 thermal imaging rifle scope runs on an APS5 battery, which lasts up to 9 hours. If that isn’t enough, the battery can be replaced quickly, made easy by the battery compartment that can be opened and operated by touch. All control elements have been placed on top of the ocular, so that the rifle scope can be operated by left and right-handed shooters. The on/off button is also placed on top of the thermal imaging rifle scope, but just in front of the objective.
More features of the Pulsar Talion XQ38 thermal imaging rifle scope:
• A mounting prism with multiple screw points to ensure flexibility and convenience when installing a Talion riflescope on various types of rifles. During installation, the user can shift the scope along the rifle to the most comfortable viewing position.
• The focus ring around the objective features a fin lever which is, when centred, set to a focus distance of exactly 70 metres. This way, focusing can be done quickly and correctly without having to look at the rifle scope.
• The housing of the Talion XQ38 is made of a magnesium alloy, which is not only strong and lightweight, but also drains warmth. It also has an IPX7 waterproofness rating: resistant against heavy rain and moisture, and can be submerged for a maximum of 30 minutes in a depth of max. 1 metre.
• It’s resistant against heavy recoil from large calibres such as 12-gauge, 9.3x64, .30-06, .300 and .375H&H.
• Choose between 5 shooting profiles with specific settings for types of rifles and ammunition. Each profile has capacity for 10 calibration distances.
• The thermal image can be shown in 8 colour schemes: White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot for detection of objects, and Rainbow and Ultramarine for recognition and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are best used for long distance observation by night.
• The Picture-in-picture function shows a separate window in the top of the display with a magnified view of the area around the reticle, to give users a better idea of what they’re aiming at
• The internal storage of 16 GB can store tens of thousands of pictures and many hours of video. Cloud storage can also be used for users that have registered in the Stream Vision 2 app.
• With the built-in Wi-Fi module, a connection can be made with iOS and Android smartphones through the Stream Vision 2 app. This enables users to livestream and use the phone as a second display, update for new software, and remotely control the scope with their smartphone.
The Talion XQ38 thermal imaging rifle scope does not come with a mount.
Please note: Shipment of digital optics with a reticle has a delay of 4 to 6 weeks due to an extensive customs procedure that needs completion before exportation.
