Thermal Imaging Camera Swarovski tM 35+ Clip-on

The Swarovski tM 35+ Clip-on thermal imaging camera is an improved version of the base tM 35 thermal imaging camera, with a field-of-view that’s considerably wider and a higher sensor resolution. Especially that field-of-view of 21.6x17.4 metres at a distance of 100 metres is a standout feature and it allows you to easily keep an overview of a large area. As expected from Swarovski, this product performs very well. It can be used handheld, or as a clip-on on a Swarovski rifle scope. The M44x0.75 thread around the eyepiece offers the possibility for attachment of an adapter ring, which allows the tM 35+ to be mounted onto a Swarovski scope. Swarovski guarantees that after attaching the tM 35+ to a scope, recalibration is not necessary and that the place of impact remains the same.

Besides the fact that the tM 35+ Clip-on is very compact and lightweight, it can be operated intuitively and by touch, because of the smart placement of the controls. It’s been fitted with high-quality components to be able to provide excellent thermal images.

The Uncooled Vox microbolometer sensor with a resolution of 640x512p excellently registers thermal differences and displays them on the 2560x2048p AMOLED display which has a frame refresh rate of 60 Hz. This ensures very detailed and smooth displays of the field-of-view, without lag or stutter. These images can be presented in two colour schemes: White Hot and Black Hot, each suited for specific lighting conditions. The standard magnification is 1x, up to 2x magnification can be achieved through digital zoom.

Swarovski’s thermal device can be turned on with just one push of a button, boots up in just two seconds, and keeps going – depending on surrounding temperatures – for up to 6.5 hours on a fully charged Li-ion 3000 mAh battery. The well-known Swarolight feature has been implemented on the tM 35+ as well. This feature automatically wakes up the device from stand-by mode as soon as it’s canted to a particular angle. The display brightness also automatically adjusts to surrounding light circumstances. 

The tM 35+ functions best in temperatures between -15 to +50 °C, can be stored between -30 and +70 °C, and has an IP68 waterproof rating. This means it is entirely dust- and waterproof and it can be submerged indefinitely to a depth of 3 metres.
