This Pulsar Telos LRF XP50 thermal imaging camera provides a highly detailed thermal image with an exceptionally low NETD-value of less than 18 mK. This means even the smallest changes in temperature are represented with exceptional detail and there is next to no static in the image. The 640x480 thermal sensor has a detection range of 1800 meters and the frame frequency is 50 Hz. It has a magnification of 10x maximum, which can be adjusted by turning the focus ring. Magnifying allows you to easily pick up on even the smallest details. The thermal imaging camera can be used ambidextrously and it has a weight (with the battery installed) of only 720 grams.
The objective has a F50/1.0 germanium lens. The thermal imaging camera has eight different colour modes that you can switch between to get the best visuals in any situation:
• White hot
• Black hot
• Red hot
• Rainbow
• Ultramarine
• Red monochrome
• Sepia
• Violet
Everything the thermal imaging camera registers is displayed on the high contrast 1024x768 pixel AMOLED display. It has an eye relief of 14 mm, meaning you are nice and close to the crisp image and you can comfortably look through the camera. Spot something you want to record? The thermal imaging camera has a built-in video recorder. You can use it to take pictures in a jpg format or record videos in a mp4 format. Everything you record has a resolution of 1024x768 pixels and it is stored on the internal memory of 64 GB.
The Pulsar Telos LRF XP50 thermal imaging camera has a built-in laser range finder with a measuring distance of 1000 metres. It allows you to measure the exact distance to anything that’s within one kilometre of where you are. Which is ideal for when you’re going out hunting. The LRF has a wavelength of 905 nm. Both the thermal sensor and the LRF are rather taxing on the replaceable LPS 7i battery. Luckily, you can easily recharge it. This is because the battery has a built-in USB-C connection, so you can easily charge it without the need for an adapter. A fully charged battery will power the thermal imaging camera for a maximum of 8.5 hours.
This thermal imaging camera has a rubber housing for added grip and it has an IPX7 waterproof rating. With that rating, the Pulsar Telos LRF XP50 can be submerged down to a depth of one metre for a maximum of 30 minutes, without the risk of water getting in. The thermal imaging camera can be used in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +40°C, so it can even be used in some of the worst weather conditions.
With this Pulsar Telos LRF XP50 thermal imaging camera, the brand is on the verge of a completely new phase. Not only does this model have an extremely low NETD-value, but it is also upgradable to keep up with the latest developments. Thermal imaging technology is constantly changing and improving and in order to keep up with that, Pulsar has made the Telos upgradable. You can upgrade it down the line with a better thermal sensor, a higher quality lens or even a display with a higher resolution.
Please note: Shipment of digital optics with a reticle has a delay of 4 to 6 weeks due to an extensive customs procedure that needs completion before exportation.
