Flir Armasight Prometheus C336 Thermal Imaging Camera

The Flir Armasight Prometheus C336 thermal imaging camera is perfect for observation, but knows many other uses too, such as checking the insulation of buildings. The handheld thermal imaging camera has a short start-up of just 3 seconds and offers the opportunity to record videos. The image has a standard optical magnification of two times, and with a 4x zoom, a maximum magnification of eight times is possible.

In this Flir Armasight Prometheus C336 thermal imaging camera, infrared radiation is converted into an image on a 640x480 pixel LED display by a 336x256 pixel VOx sensor (microbolometer). The pixel pitch is 17 µm. You’ve got the choice in image of: white hot, black hot and multiple colour variations.

It’s good to know that the ocular can be adjusted from -5 to +5 dpt to compensate for short- or farsightedness. The thermal imaging camera will give you a perfect focus from just 25 centimetres (to infinity) and has a field of view of 23x17.5 metres at 100 metres.

The buttons on top of the device can be used intuitively during observation for the following:

•Zooming in or out
•On-screen menu navigation

There’s a PAL/NTSC video output and it’s possible to attach an external power source to the Flir Armasight Prometheus C336 thermal imaging camera. Without an external power source, two CR123A 3V lithium batteries can be used or two CR123 type rechargeable batteries with a voltage between 3V and 3.7V.
