Product description
This Kershaw Showtime is a pocket knife that sits between being a rugged EDC knife and a compact and sleek gentlemen’s knife. Maybe the best way to describe this Todd Rexford designed pocket knife as a contemporary gentlemen’s knife with a tough twist. The outstanding 8Cr13MoV steel blade, for example, is anything but subtle with it’s two tone appearance, sporting a satin and black oxide coated finish. And the pivot with its hexagon design gives this Kershaw an almost industrial look.
The handle is made from solid stainless steel with a black oxide coating and has squared off edges that still do justice to the edgy design. There’s a contour for the fingers and the back of the blade has jimping to securely apply pressure with your thumb. The flipper, which is used for one handed opening, doubles as a finger guard. The opening process is swift and easy, as the SpeedSafe assisted opening system will give the blade a little push when opening and once fully opened, a frame lock prevents the blade from closing on your fingers.
