The 500 cc carbon fibre air reservoir is positioned at the rear of the rifle, in the shoulder stock area. A tactical location, as it allows the rifle to remain relatively lightweight despite its immense power. The reservoir can be filled to a maximum pressure of 310 bar (4500 psi). A full fill provides 4 to 5 shots at around 990 joules when using 385-grain projectiles. Refilling is quick and easy via the Foster quick-disconnect fitting.

The Airforce Texan Tex-Rex CF offers ample mounting options for optics and accessories. An 11 mm dovetail rail allows for the attachment of open sights or a scope. Additionally, a full-length dovetail rail runs along the underside of the rifle, providing space for fitting a bipod or other accessories. The fore-end – designed for a firm grip and stable rest – features 9 M-LOK slots, allowing further customisation with accessories such as lights or a rifle sling.
