The finger grooves are not there anymore and it has an ambidextrous slide stop lever. Also, it has a flared magwell which increases the reload speed, particularly in high-stress situations.
The Glock 17 Generation 5 comes with multiple back straps allowing the shooter to change circumference of the grip to fit their individual hand size: short, medium and large frames. The grip angle of the pistol is not changed by back strap modifications. The reversible magazine allows users to switch the catch to the left or right side of the pistol with no additional parts.
