FX DRS 700 + Saber Tactical Bronze Chassis

The Saber Tactical bronze chassis is specially designed for the FX DRS 700. It combines the renowned performance of the FX DRS with a high-quality aluminium chassis.

This combination is delivered in separate components. The DRS base must be mounted in the chassis. Mounting the base in the chassis is straightforward, as it only requires a set of included screws.

Ergonomics

Thanks to the Saber Tactical bronze chassis, the shooting experience is extremely ergonomic. The AR-15 pistol grip ensures a firm but relaxed grip on the air rifle. A thumb rest adds to this solid grip and can be mounted on either side of the stock. The height-adjustable cheek rest offers a very solid point of contact with the rifle, which, together with the rubber butt pad, ensures maximum control. A bag rider is mounted at the bottom of the buttstock, increasing stability when using a shooting bag.

Mounting rails

The forend of the rifle offers multiple types of mounting rails. An Arca-Swiss mounting rail is located along the bottom, with a short Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail right in front of it. The bottom of the forend is textured to provide some extra grip. Along the middle of this bottom rail, M-LOK slots provide additional mounting points. M-LOK slots are also located on both sides. These attachment points provide plenty of options for mounting bipods, tripods and other accessories. Located at the top of the FX DRS 700 with Saber Tactical bronze chassis is an 11 mm dovetail scope rail.

Reservoir and regulator

The air tank of the DRS 700 is integrated in the barrel shroud, which grants the rifle a lower profile and a unique look. With the adjustable regulator the power can be regulated, which benefits the shot consistency. Also worth mentioning is the SHP (Super High Power) plenum of the DRS 700, which is especially suitable for shooting slugs. Thanks to clever design by FX, the plenum can easily be replaced with a HP (High Power) plenum, which allows for greater air efficiency.

Adjustable hammer spring

As befits an extremely accurate airgun, the hammer spring is adjustable. The hammer spring tension can be altered, which impacts the amount of air that is let through the valve. The greater the spring tension, the longer the valve remains open. This influences the velocity of the projectile, but can also lead to inconsistencies when the tension is set too high. Being able to adjust the hammer spring is, therefore, extremely valuable.

Adjustable trigger

The trigger is also adjustable. This is certainly useful with the precision that this combination of the FX DRS 700 and Saber Tactical bronze chassis provide. It ensures the smoothest possible trigger pull, which, in turn, results in greater accuracy.

Superior STX barrel system

FX utilizes an inventive barrel system with the DRS. The barrel liner is removable, and thus exchangeable. The rifling of the barrel liner is pressed in from the outside, resulting in a barrel surface that is as smooth as possible. This benefits accuracy, as the projectile encounters minimal resistance and seals the barrel well.
