Red Dot Holosun SCS-P10-GR - CZ P-10 OR & Shadow 2 OR

The Holosun SCS-P10-GR red dot is specially developed for the CZ P-10 OR and CZ Shadow 2 OR, meaning it requires no mounting plate. Thanks to the solar panel that charges the internal battery, this red dot will never need to change batteries.

As is apparent by the name, the SCS-P10-GR was designed to match the P-10 and Shadow 2. The abbreviation ‘SCS’ in the name is short for Solar Charging Sight, referring to the solar panel which charges the battery of the red dot. ‘GR’ is a reference to the colour of the dot, which is a bright green. Because the CZ P-10 OR and Shadow 2 OR have their own mounting footprint in the slide, this red dot was designed to precisely match it. This ensures seamless attachment, without requiring an additional mounting plate to serve as an adapter.

This mounting system of the Holosun SCS-P10-GR red dot for the CZ P-10 OR and Shadow 2 OR has several advantages. First of all, it leaves less room for tolerances to stack, as there is no need to use a mounting plate between the red dot and slide. The low mounting of the red dot also means that de already-present iron sights can still be used to co-witness through the lens. As a result, the shooter always has a secondary option.

The solar panel ensures that the red dot is powered, by charging an internal battery. When this internal battery is fully charged, it can provide power for up to 20,000 hours. In practice, sun- or artificial light will of course shine onto the panel before this point, allowing for theoretically indefinite operation. Brightness of the red dot is automatically adjusted to the measured ambient light. If this is insufficient, a 30-minute override to a very high brightness can be set with the press of a button.

Three reticle options allow for customisation, depending on user preferences. The options consist of a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle and a circle dot which combines the aforementioned options. This way, the reticle can be adjusted to any situation, depending on the required precision and reaction speed.
