FN Herstal 502 Tactical Black

This FN Herstal 502 Tactical Black is a .22 LR calibre rimfire firearm with an extremely high fun-factor and an incredibly tight design. The pistol is incredibly user-friendly and you can fully adjust it to your own preferences. The 4.6” (117 mm) barrel features 1/2x28 thread that can be used to put a suppressor onto the firearm. That thread can easily be covered by using the thread protector you get with the pistol. The thread protector is rather small, but it has a knurled surface that provides added grip which allows you to easily tighten it or loosen it. 

This pistol has a firm slide that is made of anodized aluminium. The slide is even optics-ready. This means there’s a removable plate on the back of the slide. Once you’ve removed that plate, you can easily mount a mounting base in its place. You’ll receive three mounting bases with this pistol: a Trijicon RMR, a Vortex Venom and a Shield RMS. The slide comes equipped with a front sight and a rear sight which can be used to aim quite well. But a red dot will allow you to acquire your target even faster. This is because a red dot only requires you to focus on one spot, rather than on two as is the case with open sights. Deep, diagonal grooves on both sides of the aluminium slide allow you to hold onto it firmly so you can easily pull it back. 

This FN Herstal 502 Tactical Black has a firm, synthetic grip that has texturing on both sides and on the front and the back for added grip. That added grip will come in handy considering this firearm has a semi-automatic firing mode. High up on the grip is a fine texture in the exact spot where you’ll place the thumb of your shooting hand. The single-action trigger has a smooth pull and it has multiple recessed lines for added grip. There’s a slide lock and a safety pin on the frame of this firearm which can both be operated from the left side and the right side of the frame. The magazine pin, as well, can be operated ambidextrously. 

You will receive two magazines with this FN Herstal 502 Tactical Black. One of the magazines has a capacity of ten cartridges and the other magazine has a capacity of fifteen cartridges. An extra magazine -especially one with a higher capacity- is always a good thing and it allows you to keep shooting uninterrupted.
