Bipod Rome Basis

This Rome Basis bipod has only one job and that’s ensuring that you can plant your rifle firmly and with stability. And it does so incredibly well. It’s made of black anodised aluminium with stainless steel screws and it has a weight of only 512 grams. The Basis bipod by Rome comes equipped with a Quick Mount attachment for a Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail, which means you can easily mount it or take it off.

The Rome Basis bipod features two length-adjustable legs with rubber feet for added grip. It has a minimum length of 17 cm and a maximum length of 23.5 cm. Additionally, the legs are five-stage adjustable. You can adjust them by pushing the button on the outside of the legs and moving it into the next position. Repeat this step until both legs are set at the desired angle.

Aside from changing the legs’ angle, you can also change the angle of the mount, which in turn allows you to effectively change the angle/cant of the rifle. It’s freely adjustable at an angle of 15 degrees and you can use the lever on the back to either lock it in place or to unlock it. This means you’ll have stability, without sacrificing manoeuvrability.
