These 38 grain Heavy airgun slugs in 6.35 mm (.249) calibre were designed and produced by H&N for long distance shooting and hunting, and should be used with powerful PCP rifles with an output of 25 joules (18.5 ft.lb) or more.

H&N perfectly balanced accuracy and impact for high energy air rifles by crafting the Heavy Slug from soft lead and fitting it with a large meplat. The large hollow point of the 38 grain Heavy airgun slugs in 6.35 mm (.249) provides rapid expansion, which ensures a great amount of stopping power.
