These 36 grain Heavy Slugs by H&N in 5.5 mm (.217) calibre were designed for long distance shooting and hunting, and are suited for powerful PCP rifles with a minimum output of 25 joules (18.5 ft.lb).

H&N found the perfect balance between accuracy and expansion for high energy air rifles by crafting the Heavy Slug from soft lead and fitting it with a large meplat. The large hollow point ensures rapid expansion, which results in a great amount of stopping power.
