Vanguard VEO HD IV 65A 18-45x65 Spotting Scope

This Vanguard VEO HD IV 65A 18-45x65 spotting scope offers a magnification power of 18 to 45x. The objective lens, with a diameter of 65 mm, creates a bright image, be it during the day or during dawn or dusk. Fully multi coated lenses optimise the transmission of light and the scope also features a superior BAK4 roof prism. Because of this, even in situations without much light, a bright image is created.

Next to having these high grade lenses, the scope’s field of view is also quite impressive. At a distance of 1000 yards (914 metres) its field of view is 125,7 feet (38 metres) with minimal magnification. With maximal magnification it’s 68 feet (21 metres) per 1000 yards. The nearest focus distance is 19,7 feet (6 metres). For this, the scope is equipped with a double focusing wheel for both quick focusing adjustments, as well as fine adjustments, using two separate adjustment wheels. An intuitively operatable zooming wheel enables smooth zooming in and out.

To ensure the durability of the spotting scope, it is purged with nitrogen. This prevents water or dust from getting inside the scope, even in harsh environments and with variable temperatures. Also, it is equipped with an integrated sun shield which can be easily extended over the objective. The eyepiece can be adjusted, making the scope suitable for use with or without a pair of glasses.

For quick attachment to a tripod, the VEO HD IV 65A spotting scope is equipped with an Arca quick-release plate. This way, the scope can be easily mounted on any tripod with an Arca mounting clamp. Additionally, the scope can be rotated in its clamp ring for positioning into any desired viewing angle. The spotting scope is made of lightweight and durable carbon composite, making it weigh just over 1,5 kg.
