By means of a special swaging process, where the lead is pressed into a mould, these slugs are produced with great uniformity in shape and density. They have an extraordinarily high ballistic coefficient, resulting in less aerodynamic drag and less susceptibility to wind deflection.

Due to the hollow point of these slugs, impact on the target is maximised. This hollow point will rapidly expand when hitting the target, transferring most energy of the projectile on the target.
