BIG BORE RIFLES
The collection big bore rifles in our store consists of an ever-expanding assortment of models from all the well-known manufacturers. We aim to provide big bore rifles in all price-ranges in a great variety and with high quality. Big bore rifles are often used when hunting deer, roe deer, boars and harmful game such as geese. Most often this type of rifle is used in camouflage hunts and driven hunts.
Most often, the big bore rifles used for hunting feature a single shot bolt action, using a traditional rotating bolt, although some rifles use a bolt that can be directly pulled rearwards to eject cases and load a fresh cartridge from a magazine. Some big bore rifles are semi-automatic and not often but still available are rifles that use a break action (double barrel mostly).
When shooting with a big bore rifle, a rifle scope can be used, but in driven hunts a red dot or special open sights can also be used. The used ammunition generally are cartridges with a centrally placed primer.
