Pocket Knife CRKT Sketch
This CRKT Sketch is designed by knife maker and knife designer Lucas Burnley, well-known for his knives with fluent lines and clean design. The matt blade and matt handle rive a rough and rugged appearance, while the green anodised aluminium spacer and pivot ring make for a subtle contrast.
CRKT and Burnley opted for 8Cr14MoV stainless steel, that combines a good corrosion resistance with a great hardness, giving a good edge retention and easy of sharpening. By choosing a K-tip style point, the blade is perfect for slicing, while the point itself is both strong and suitable for fine detailing. You can open the CRKT Sketch with one hand, using the thumb hole.
The handle is also made from stainless steel (2Cr13) with a beautiful dark coating. The rounded edges make for a comfortable hold and the thumb-operated frame lock secures the blade firmly when opened. A low profile pocket clip is situated at the rear and a lanyard hole is created by making use of the liner and cutting out slots in both frame plates.
