Pocket Knife CRKT M16-03Z Spear Point
The CRKT M16-03Z Spear Point pocket knife is a good looking member of the M16-series, designed by the late Kit Carson. The M16, with it’s sleek lines, is an absolute classic and it’s one of the first designs to make the flipper popular. For this reason, CRKT named it the Carson-flipper.
Besides the fact the CRKT M16-03Z Spear Point can be opened with one hand, using the flipper, you can also opt to use the thumb stud. One opened, the flipper will double as a fingerguard.
This pocket knife features a very special liner lock, that itself is secured with an automatic safety pin. As soon as the blade locks in the liner lock, the pin will block the liner. Only when the pin is pulled back, the liner lock can be pushed aside to release the blade.
The blade is made from AUS8 stainless steel that can easily be sharpened to a razor edge. It’s enclosed in a stainless steel (420J2) frame with textured FRN scales. The CRKT M16-03Z Spear Point features a tip-up pocket clip that can be mounted both left or right on the handle.
