This Schmeisser AR15 Ultramatch STS 20” is perfect for sport shooting. The rifle has a match grade barrel with very tight tolerances and it is highly accurate. The barrel is fluted and weighs a little less as a result. Because the barrel has milled grooves it will cool down quicker. The semi-automatic rifle has an easy-to-use two-stage trigger that provides complete control over the timing of your shot. There’s a T-shaped charging handle on the back of the upper receiver, slightly above the stock, that you use to smoothly cycle the rifle. It has a bolt catch that ensures the charging handle won’t move back forward if the magazine is emptied. The rifle has a brass deflector that prevents the ejected casings from flying towards your face.

The match grade barrel has an adjustable gas block towards the front of the barrel, close to the front end of the handguard. The gas block redirects some of the pressure inside the barrel to activate the case ejection system and to activate the bolt catch when the magazine is empty. The amount of pressure used, can be manually adjusted.

This Schmeisser AR15 Ultramatch STS 20” is perfectly compatible with a gun rest or a sandbag, thanks to the firm handguard placed around the barrel. In addition, the handguard features multiple M-Lok slots that you can use to mount several accessories onto your rifle, such as a laser or a bipod. There’s a Weaver/Picatinny scope rail on top that you can use to attach a scope.

The 10-round magazine is placed just before the trigger and it has a wide baseplate, making it easy to take out and put back in. This rifle’s stock has a cylinder-shaped top that functions as a cheek rest and there’s an opening in the butt plate for a spare magazine. The rough texture on the grip ensures you can hold the rifle firmly. Both the safety and the magazine eject button can be manipulated from the left side and the right side of the rifle.
